June 23, 2025 – (A week later) City Council cancels the Lease of the land to ArtBuild Ontario, going back on the idea of 250 Lincoln being used as an arts hub until the purchase of the land by a developer is finalized (anticipated to be three years).

June 16, 2025 – At the City Council meeting, the council took oral submissions on the value of an arts centre and how other organizations run such locations.
Then the council suddenly, an hour and 20 minutes into the meeting, deferred the decision. We see the result a week later.
